VQ-1 Crew 2 DaNang 1968

| Three
different people helped to identify the crew members in the photograph
above. Some varied a little, so I made a column for each of the
people's lists. Thanks to all who helped. |

| I am one of the
crewmen pictured in the VQ-1 Crew #2 picture posted on your web site. I
have a copy of that picture and I wrote the names of the men on
the back of my copy. In the back row 1. LT Jim Sutcliffe (eval) 2. Dan Carlin - (spook) 3. LTJG Dur Halvorsen (eval) 4. Woods - (plane captain) 5. Walsh (AES) 6. Cutsforth - (operator) 7. Ter Molen - (operator) 8. Orr - (operator) 9. Hopper - (crew leader) 10. unknown 11. Manuel - (mech) 12. Kruse - (operator) 13. Buchannan - (radio) 14. Fisher - (electrician) 15. LTJG Ray Burrows (eval) 16. unknown - (mech) 17. Swalina - (mech) Bottom Row, left to right 1. LT Jack Milliken (Pilot) 2. Dennis (radio) 3. Wilson (F/E) 4. Russel (F/E) 5. Preslar (radio) 6. unknown (mech) 7. Klaas (electrician) 8. Harley (mech) 9. Kirner (radar) 10. Gillette (operator) 11. Fruick (mech) 12. LTJG Doug Ritter (pilot) 13. LT A. J. Krueger (pilot) I also am positive that the picture was taken in 1969 not 1968, because Lt Millikan and myself were deployed as co-EWACs. I was getting to be a short timer and he had over a year to go, we were the junior EWACs along with Lt Mike Asher and were paired for a deployment.
